Hi
Balsa is an email client for gnome. It used to be part of gnome 1.4. It's
not a default part of gnome 2, but it uses the gnome 2 libraries which is
what makes it work reasonably well with gnopernicus.

http://balsa.gnome.org
is the site where you can get it.
