Installing from the Woody Disks -- How?

Nobody ever said syslinux was supposed to be better then lilo. You need to run syslinux even if you replace the kernel, since the offset of where the kernel image starts on the disk is stored in ldlinux.sys. All of this is described in the syslinux docs.
