If you're talking dsl routers, this isn't possible realistically, without
a lot of bother.  My dsl router has access via a serial link, which is
handy when I screw up the config, or I want to back up the config or even
create more than one config - for this Minicom is your friend, once you've
got it configured.


I'm fortunate, in that my router has a reasonably Lynx-friendly interface,
though it took some getting used to due to the huge number of frames, but
the restart script can be run from a specific url and thus can be run from
a script if necessary.

As for accessing the interface to this router, have you considered using
the chain links with javascript support?  Such support is not perfect but
it does work in some circumstances and may help in this regard.
