converting from mp3 to gapless cdaudio

What do people use to convert from mp3 to gapless
cd audio? I am trying to use mp32dao but it seems I do
not have all the pieces not sure what package
under Debian contains libmpeg3.h
and libsndfile.h

what do others use?
