The safe_mysqld script on slackware 8.0 hangs out in /usr/bin. A way to have the script run on startup for all users on system would be to copy it into /etc/profile.d. That directory is read and sourced for files by /etc/profile. -- Jude <dashielljt(at)gmpexpress-dot-net>
