Serial port? was Re: Loading litetalk module

I've used this command as well as the other suggestions relating to
echo to said port and such, and I still get an error - cannot open
specified device.

$  setserial -G /dev/ttyS0  #doesn't tell me anything to throw any
light on it either.

I Accept that Speakup is on 0 or ought to be as I plugged synth into
what I understand as com1:  and it works.  But I have an unused BnS on
ttyS1 or com2:  as I knew it and get the same there.  I was trying to
use a second device to Emacspeak if it would simplify the
installation.  It hasn't since none of this has worked yet.
