Hi, Red Hat hosts several good lists for their distro.
Go to www.redhat.com, go to the support link, and then somewhere you will find a page for mailing lists.

Subject: off-topic: general linux mailing lists

  Hi all,

As a Linux newbie (only about a month), I am looking for some mailing lists where I can ask some general Linux type questions.
  Sys admin, redhat, networking, etc.

I haven't been able to locate any using google, so I am asking here.

  Thanks,
