Hi Janina.

This may not be the best way, but it works for me.

When you decide that you don't want to send a message, exit the editor. It will ask you if you want to send, hit q. It will ask you if you want to postpone it, hit n, and it will throw it away. The only advantage to this method seems to be that you won't end up with a postponed file in your home dir. Hth.
