linux and intel network cards

      Hi, I just got done installing linux slackware 8.0 on my desktop and
am thinking about getting dsl, I have an intel pro r100 network card and I
am wondering if I can use it with linux?  I looked in the kernel
configuration but could not find no intel cards and that is odd because
intel is very popular and that is what I don't understand, they should be
supported if they are not all ready.  bye
