Curses Toolkits

Has anyone around here used any tool kits for curses development? I
found something for perl but have some big problems with curser
tracking.  When I attempt searches for this, I can't seem to filter
out the TK stuff for Xwindows.  I think of tool kits because the raw
curses stuff is a bit heavy!!!

Any ideas?
