Yes. Dma can be found under the following configuration strings when configuration for a 2.4.18 kernel:
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDEDMA_PCI
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDEDMA
CONFIG_IDEDMA_PCI_AUTO
CONFIG_IDEDMA_NEW_DRIVE_LISTINGS
