My ide1 is back!!!

Well, at this point it's a one-time problem, but of course I'll keep an eye on
it.
I don't think there's any question about the writer being ok; when I used
zipspeak and when I used the debian rescue and root disks, it was responding and
working; hdd (the cdrom) is more of a concern, but since that was used anyway
it's not a huge deal if I have to replace it.
