That is because the command line is proven to be faster for a large
variety of tasks, and the keyboard faster than the mouse. Over here in
the UK, there are a growing number of typing pools where, despite the use
of MS Office etc, the mouse is banned. A lot of my colleagues who must
use indows wish they didn't have to, or at the last that there was an
equivalent text-based interface.
