Hmm, are you trying to install to a fat32 partition, using the umsdos file
system?  If so, then you need to give those parameters to Loadlin, if not,
you need to install a boot loader such as Lilo, from where you can make
the decision whether you want to boot to Linux or Windows.  It's  bit like
booting up to MSDOS 6.22 and then trying to load Win98, it can't work.
