Linux Installation

[ADFM]

I am trying to understand. I close down Windows 98 SE,reboot to Command Prompt Only, switch to D: and run the following line:

debian-2.2r2-speakup root=/dev/hda2 speakup_synth=dectlk rw

I get a "Bad command or file name". What is wrong?
