General question about Linux

Ha ha. Of course advanced users can do with a command line their job faster
than the beginners with a GUI.
In fact, there are some tasks that are easier to perform with a command line
for the beginners also.

It depends what are you doing with your computer, what tasks you need to
perform, etc.

If you need to make multimedia editing, I don't think Linux is better than
Windows, or the command line better than the GUI.
If you need to maintain a web server, the command line is better, but ...
I haven't found a better text editor for Linux and for command line than for
Windows and GUI.

All text editors for Linux that are accessible without a hardware
sinthesizer, cannot copy and paste words. Only whole lines ... this is just
an example.

I hope the new GUI for Linux will be truly accessible.

Absolutely right. The number of people who are pleasantly surprised when
I show them faster ways to do stuff without their mouse, well I would be a
millionaire if I had a hundred pounds for each one!

It's also a scientifically proven fact that, while good for beginners,
advanced users can perform tasks much faster with the keyboard than the
mouse, and in fact in some offices, even those that use MS Office etc,
mice are banned!
