installing slackware 8.0 with speakup

It echos the screen back. I decided to bail out of the install and start
from scratch. Now I am dealing with a system that will not boot. I am
putting the boot floppy (the one linux asked me to ake). I decided to put
lilo on a floppy. When I got to this option, it never prompted me for a
disk. Will the boot floppy have it on it (again the one Linux asked me to
put in)?
