Right now, I'm doing everything with modprobe. I will not modify lilo.conf and until such time as I can get this working with modprobe. I'll check /boot/config and see if sr_mod was included in this particular kernel it may have been but that last lock up isn't encouraging. -- Jude <dashielljt(at)gmpexpress-dot-net>
