slackware and speakup with dsl question

If you installed everything, the roaring penguin stuff should be on your
system.  You need to run pppoe-conf first then adsl-start and good luck.
Verizon.net is loosing lots of customers in the St. Mary's county area of
Maryland because their network simply doesn't work.  A lady who works
across the hall from me and is a confirmed gui user used the windows
software at home and couldn't get verizon dsl to work either, so it's not
just me and it''s not linux either.
