debian-3.0

hi all,
I've just aquired a copy of debian 3.0
I've seen some references to a 2.4x kernel on the first cd.
does anyone have any idea what kernel version this could be, as it
supports ext3 and reiserfs.
thanks in advance.
ps, if it's kernel 2.4.18, I'll be able to probably work around it by
building a kernel on my slack box with the debian config file and putting
it on the boot floppy.
