Installation question

[ADFM]

I was reading the RedHat installation document andd read that I could enter "serial=0,9600N8" as the first line of "label Linux" in the "syslinux.cfg". Under "serial=0,9600n8" could I enter: "text speakup_synth=dectlk"? Just having "serial=0,9600n8" makes the DECTalk Express speak the screen output.
