bookshare's explanation not correct

Peter:

I don't understand your response. Certainly, it can't be only an issue of SSL support, because that's (generally
speaking) more up to date on linux than on Windows. Besides, my conversations with Allyson have been clear that
additional software work is required. If, on the other hand, you're correct and the only security Book Share is looking
for is SSL support, then some kind of proprietary tagging on the server side has somehow excluded linux users--and the
web site doesn't comply with W3C WAI guidelines in that instance, imho.

So, which is it?
