Hi,
Bookshare is, in fact, accessible by Linux users. You must
either be using the SSL version of Lynx or have Http-Refer enabled
in your Lynx configuration. These security measures are
requirements of our copyright agreement with the publishers so
that plain text browsers that do not have security enabled cannot
gain access to the download authorizations. Bookshare.org does,
in fact, have a clearly stated 45 day money back gurantee, so if
you should decide to join, your money can be refunded in full
during that period. In the meantime, I suggest you try to use
your security enabled browser on the public domain content which
does not require a membership. Thank you.
