using cvs from slackware 8.0

Hi Raul:  Well, I just checked and my version of cvs client is 1.11,
doesn't say anything about a patch level.  My guess is you might be
able to just touch .cvspass in your home directory and see if that
works.  Cvs is supposed to create it f it doesn't exist on first use.
