I'm curious; what tools do you find best for creating audio CD's with
disk-at-once (DAO) or simply copying audio cd's with Linux? I've read the
cd-writing HOWTO and played around with cdrdao but ran into some strang
CRC errors when reading the table of contents and I've also noticed some
problems with proper placement of track boundaries on the finished
product. When I compared a contents listing from cdparanoia and from
cdrdao, I saw different values in the time fields so somehow, these guys
are not created equal.
I've successfully created data cd's recently and that seemed to go great.
I am using a Creative CDRW-8438E modle and am trying to use the
generic-mmc driver as cdrdao would not auto detect for me:(. Any ideas
out there?
Thanks for the help.
