hi,
this soundblaster is not a pnp
but i did run snddevices
also when i was running 7.1 it all worked fine
this appears to have something to do with the 8.0 slackware upgrade,
the alsa-driver-0.9.0beta7 compiles
with a lot of strange warnings but it compiles.
when i try to load snd-card-sb16 it can't load it.
thanks in advance
randy
