useful programs

speaking of which, i found a mua called nmh. i frequently browse through debian package lists,  and search for thigs i need/want.
dbian's package lists are quite large, but they go fast on my cable link, which is good isnce i'm on unstable.
nmh is command line based:
fetchmail,inc,show,next,next...
i have a 3 line wrapper around inc - 
/usr/bin/mh/inc
sortm -textfield subject
refile +speakup `pick -to speakup`
it's easy to create filters. 
this is my oppinion of a well-designed mua. if you need anyelp, ask me - i've still got a ways to go, but it sure beats outlook express
or eudora or any microsoft products any day.
