It is possible to make windows boot up from a floppy, though there are no
how tos that I have seen. The basics are to make a startup disk then copy
msdos.sys from your c: drive onto the floppy. You may need to add
c:\windows\win.com to your autoexec.bat. But dual boot machine is really
the way to go.
