While this may be a limitation, I don't think of it as a
disadvantage. I don't need a boot floppy with every service I would
want. For my day to day needs, the hard drive works much faster for
booting. Actually, I find waiting on any kernel to load from floppy to be
painfully slow. I would sooner have windows initially boot from a floppy
if forced into this mode.
