Well, thank you very much for the kind words about your adventures in
Thailand.  It would be interesting to hear more about how they are
using Linux and speakup and the like.

We have rough support for cursoring and an accessable device
/dev/synth in the current version of speakup in cvs.  It is still
pretty rough however but it is certainly coming along.  Anyone that is
interested in playing with the cvs can drop me a note and I will send
out a script they can use to download and patch the cvs version into a
clean full source kernel.

If the folks already using the cvs version think the script is stable
enough, I could post it to the list and place it on the ftp area.
