installed rh 6.2 from talking bootdisk, but it's kernel refuses to work properly when copied in from the bootdisk

Did that last night, got to use eznet to connect to the net as I still have
gotten the not 8 bit clean connection when using rh's ppp method. I didn't
recompile the modules though, as him and I will be working on updating
stuff eventually.
