Hey Bart:

The port specifier is speakup_ser=x where x is the tty device number
(i.e. 0 for comm1, 1 for comm2 etc).  Speakup does still test for the
device however.

One thing I have to do is boot linux twice to get it to work.  I use ttyS1
and it doesn't seem to work first go (I think this problem has now been
resolved).  Anyway, I boot linux, then shut it down, then hit reset and
boot it again and then it works.  Must be a port init thing.  Anyway, try
that if you like.
