problem with newest speakup-0.09 and keyboard interrupt

Hi Chris:  That problem sounds like you probably didn't compile and
install the latest loadspeak code.  In the directory which was created
when you unpacked speakup there should have been created a
subdirectory call load_spk-0.8.  cd into that directory and do:

./configure
make 
(as root) make install

Hopefully that will get rid of your problem.
