more on cvs errors on 2.2.18

Since I did not capture my screen output when running the checkout script
on kernel 2.2.18, I moved to the directory
/usr/src/linux/drivers/char/speakup and ran it again with output
redirected to a file. Here is what I got, still looks like errors to me...

If I cannot figure something out I guess I may go ahead and try
configuring and compiling the kernel...
