I will need to check into your problem a little more.  There is a signal
trap that is supposed to catch most common signals and delete the
tempsub file.  Apparently Podracer died quite abnormally on your system
and it would be nice if I can find out how and why.  Let me know if you
have any information to provide if this happens again, although I do
know that something like a power failure or hardware failure that causes
your box to power down unexpectedly will in fact leave the lock file in
place.
