Converting wav to mp3 in Linux?

Hello All,

	I don't know what program to use to convert wav files to MP3.  I 
have cdparanoia and it works to get the wav files, but I can't seem to 
find something to then convert them to MP3 or ogg?  I looked at the manual 
for cdparanoia and it only offers avi and a couple of other formats that 
are not what I need to send the files to ACB Radio.
