I think there's a misunderstanding here.

Speakup supports synths connected to USB-to-serial adaptors, but doesn’t support using synths in native USB mode. As far as I am aware there has never been a driver for the Dectalk or Tripletalk USB in USB mode, though it would be nice to have one.
