Under Arch Linux, I switched from the espeak package to the espeak-ng package. After doing so, espeakup no longer started (systemd unit failed with an exit code, according to the logs). Is there a known solution? Incidentally, I was able to run Fenrir with speakup-ng, no configuration needed.
