Anyone seeing broken right Alt?

Hi,
Beginning sometime around kernel 3.11.6 or 3.11.7, I ceased being able
to use the right alt key as distinct from the laft alt key. I'm
wondering whether anyone else can confirm this behavior? I'm especially
interested whether anyone NOT using Fedora is seeing this behavior.
So, to be clear, what's happened is that the difference between right
and left alt has gone away. Since I launch 24 consoles via the twelve
function keys plus either right or left alt, this creates a nuisance
sufficient to keep me on an old kernel. I expect I should file a bug,
but want to figure out first whether this is something peculiar to
Fedora, or an issue more generally with the kernel.
PS: I've run show keys and confirmed that distinct values are indeed
being captured, i.e. keycode 56 and 100 respectively, left and right
alt.
Any wisdom much appreciated.
