speakup and slackware 13.37

Has anyone using a litetalk synthesizer even managed to get this version 
of slackware to go into installation with their litetalk talking?  I don't 
know about the other synthesizers since I don't have any of those but it 
appears the litetalk code was removed.  I wouldn't go that far except gpg 
--verify slackware-13.37-install-d1.iso.asc returned no problems with the 
iso itself.
