Hello!
Yes, it is that I do too, and I run as a system service.
but it says that config files are not found anyway.
Is there a plase in the files where I can specify where dispatcher looks for
config files?
Also, could you please send your swift and dectalk files to me privately, so
that I can get this to work?
/Kristoffer

Hi. I don't run speech-dispatcher as a user. I run it system wide. With
that
config, I don't have any problems using Deqtalk or Swift.
Never used spd-conf, so can't help with that.
You might need to ask on ubuntu-accessibility.
I believe Ubuntu is the distro that created that
program and wants users to run speech-dispatcher from there home dir.
Spd-conf does exist in the Debian package, but I just edit config files in
/etc/speech-dispatcher.
