Hello,
I'm working on switching to linux at least part-time, and have a few questions.
First, I've thought about using emacs or pico for code, has anyone found a way to handle python indentations? Can Speakup be made to announce them?

Second, I'm using mplayer for my media, because cdcd only seemed to be for cds, and when I lower the volume it lowers the speakup volume too, which makes it a bit hard because I had music on terminal two and book on term three, with other work on the first console, so I could just use screen to manage that. Aside from the long explaination, it seems when I turn down the volume on the media player, the master volume goes down, too. Is there a way to make it where they have separate volume settings so that it won't affect speakup?

		Thanks,
