Does anyone know how long to wait when booting up grml with speakup to start doing things with the keyboard after the post beep? I managed to get grml up and talking only once and had a lot of trouble doing that earlier today. I'm not even sure holding the left shift key down actually has any useful effect anymore with grml at least.
