The value for the [:dv ap XXX] is a frequency, in HZ. This is the base pitch 
of the synthesizer. If you set [:dv pr 0] which allows for no pitch range 
(the default is 100) you will get a robotic voice at the frequency the ap 
value has. ap stands for Average Pitch. I think the lowest acceptable value 
is 50 and the highest is somewhere between 500 and 600. No idea about 
incremental adjustments though.
