All,

I am pleased to announce that the gentoo x86 and amd64 minimal cds now
support braille and speech installation.

The fastest way to get speech and/or braille active when booting the
cd is to wait for the beep, then type something like:

gentoo speakup.synth=synthname
or
gentoo brltty=something

This also should work with software speech; it will start espeakup
automatically.

The most current isos can be downloaded from
http://distfiles.gentoo.org/releases/x86/current-iso or
http://distfiles.gentoo.org/releases/amd64/current-iso.

Since I do not have 64 bit hardware, testing would be appreciated.

If there are any issues, let me know.

Thanks,
