clipboard integration -- possible security implications

It's only tangentially related, but I probably wouldn't copy my credit
card number to a clipboard.  Not safe at all.  I can rattle it off from
memory, along with my SSN, bank routing number, checking account number,
sundry passwords, and other confidential miscellanea.
