I was looking at the freetts files that I had downloaded. There is a
file called voices.txt it is located in the lib directory in the
freetts-1.2 directory. I opened the file and at the top it says this
file lists the voice directories available to FreeTTs. There are #
comments in this file. Like at the bottom of the file there is a #
comment that says

# Uncomment to allow MBROLA voices
#de.dfki.lt.freetts.en.us.MbrolaVoiceDirectory

Just wondering if this has anything to do with the error message when
I ran freetts and the fact that I can't get freetts to talk? Also in
the same file there are to lines, not # commented out, one for the
AlanVoiceDirectory and one for the KevinVoiceDirectory I can't seem to
find these directories and am maybe wondering if I should install some
extra files that are in the lib directory that came with freetts? Just
trying to figure out why freetts is not working for me.
