speakup is nice

I was under the impression they were trying hard to do so with Orca for the
Gnome desktop. KDE may be farther away thanks to the apparent unwillingness
to make any use of AT-SPI libraries. Granted, I could be wrong, but that's
what I gather from its documentation.

I wonder how much money it would cost to get some programmers to work on
getting the same access for gnome or KDE as we enjoy with speakup and the
shell... I'd certainly invest David
