Even more Debian Squeeze strangeness...

	Well, here I am again, with irssi running chat over on freenode 
on another virtual terminal, and SpeakUP is mysteriously repeating "T" 
all the timet...and now here in nano while writing this.  Is this a 
memory leak or something?  It also says "X" alot too, immediately after 
the /during when the login prompt appears in Debian.  Any ideas what I 
may be doing wrong?
