Hmm, interesting, I just tried winkey+p on my desktop, which should
work the same way, and that just reads the current line, as does
winkey+i. Maybe you've got a newer version of speakup than I do. I
built my last kernel with speakup in December, so that might well be
the case.

Regarding Gene's comment, Alonzo already knew about using capslock as
the speakup modifier. What he was getting at, is that there seems to
be no capslock+key equivalent to numpad-*, though it seems like there
might be after all, in newer versions of speakup anyway I guess.
